Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rafeq mobile, watch, and Mac applications (“App”) provided by Mustafa Ahmed (“we”, “us”), based in Sweden. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
Rafeq provides Islamic prayer times, Qibla direction, notifications, widgets, and optional premium features (“Rafeq Pro”). The App is intended primarily for users in Sweden and may be used elsewhere at your own discretion. Prayer times, Qibla readings, and notifications are provided for convenience. For important religious observances, verify timings with your local mosque or authority.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or the minimum age required in your country if higher. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian where required by law.
3. Accounts
No account is required to use the core features of Rafeq. If we introduce optional accounts in the future, additional terms may apply at sign-up.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Rafeq Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through your Apple ID via the App Store. Prices, billing period, and free-trial terms (if offered) are shown in the App at the time of purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies; we do not process refunds directly.
- Family Sharing availability depends on the plan you purchase.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
- Interfere with the App, its services, or related systems in an unlawful or harmful way
- Use the App in any unlawful manner or in a way that harms other users
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Mustafa Ahmed or Rafeq
6. Intellectual property
The App, its design, branding, and underlying software are owned by Mustafa Ahmed or licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.
7. Third-party services
The App may rely on third-party services to provide certain features, including payment processing, cloud services, analytics, and prayer timetable information. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of prayer times, Qibla direction, or notifications. Compass and location readings depend on your device hardware and environment and may be inaccurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mustafa Ahmed is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on prayer times, Qibla readings, missed notifications, or subscription billing handled by Apple. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
10. Changes to the App and Terms
We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, where permitted by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any active subscription through Apple. We may suspend or discontinue the App or certain features with reasonable notice where practicable.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in Sweden or the EU/EEA, you retain mandatory consumer protections under the laws of your country of residence. Disputes should first be raised with us at support@rafeqapp.app. If unresolved, disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
13. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in the Rafeq Privacy Policy.
